How Do RapidCoolTM Products Work?

RapidCoolTM "HRT" (Heat Reduction Technology) products employ a proprietary patent pending powerful blend of components that contain "heat energy" adsorbers. energy absorbers, wetting agents, and boiling point temperature depressants, all combined in a water based media. RapidCoolTM products come in consistencies as fluid as water, as pliable as gels, or in thick pastes to cling to vertical or overhead surfaces.

Energy Adsorbers: The energy adsorbers in RapidCoolTM "HRT" products promote the collection of the product molecules on surfaces. This helps to control heat energy on solid or liquid surfaces.

Energy Absorbers: The energy absorbers promote the rapid heat transfer of the molecular kinetic energy of a hot object's surface to the RapidCoolTM media by efficiently absorbing the heat energy emissions from the hot object. In doing this, the molecular structure of these absorbers is elevated to an excited state. The excited absorbers reemit this energy back into the RapidCoolTM media at longer, lower energy wavelengths

Wetting Agents: The wetting agents increase the interfacing heat transfer surface area of the hot object and the RapidCoolTM media, thus promoting faster heat transfer away from the hot object. This is accomplished by reducing the surface tension of the water droplets in the RapidCoolTM media. Reduced surface tension produces much smaller water droplets and a hydrophilic sheeting effect ,thus more water is able to come in contact with the surface. The surface tension of untreated water results in considerably larger water droplets that retain a spherical form when interfaced on a hot surface.

Temperature Depressants: The depression or lowering of the boiling point of water provides a lower temperature at which the RapidCoolTM media will boil or change phases (liquid phase to gaseous phase) thus producing higher heat transfer rates as the absorbed heat energy is dissipated through vaporization of water, or as heat of vaporization.

The blended constituents that make up RapidCoolTM products are responsible for the interaction of the RapidCoolTM product with a hot object to allow for enhanced energy transfer into the RapidCoolTM product and energy dissipation as the RapidCoolTM product vaporizes. The wetting action, reduced water droplet size, lowered boiling point temperature, and the absorption qualities of treated water is enhanced dramatically, producing a larger and better treated surface area.

This action increases the speed and efficiency at which the RapidCoolTM product can absorb heat from a hot object or surface and dissipate it away.
